Bishop Justin Marcus, D. Min, D.H.L., is a fourth generation Apostolic Bishop. He was born on November 12th at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD. He is the only child to the union of Bishop Dr. Joseph and Evangelist Nestle Marcus.

Bishop Marcus was baptized in Jesus name at the tender age of four years old and received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost at the age of six. His early christian experiences were at Greater Morning Star Pentecostal church in Washington, D.C.

At the ripe young age of eleven years old he launched into ministry via the music department and was appointed as minister of music at New Foundation Apostolic Ministries Int’l. He served in that capacity preaching on the streets of Bowie/Upper Marlboro, MD until he turned fifteen where he began to preach and travel the country sharing the word of God at churches, conferences and conventions nationwide. He served in many capacities such as youth pastor, teacher, outreach coordinator, assistant pastor and much more.

By the time Bishop was eighteen he stepped out on faith and was asked to step in as the interim-pastor of a local church in the city of Laurel, MD. He Pastored in that city for 10 years until the Lord called him to the city of Baltimore, MD to plant a church on the east side.

Academically, Bishop Marcus matriculated through the Anne Arundel county school system until he was pulled out to be homeschool as he and his parents traveled the country doing kingdom ministry. He graduated from PGCC with an Associate in Arts Degree, he went on to attend Rowe Bible Institute where he received  his undergraduate and graduate degrees one in Christian Studies and the other in Theological studies. He went on to receive a Doctoral degree in Divinity from Global University and then was awarded a Doctor of Humane Letter from RBI.

Ecclesiastically, He locally licensed with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World as a minister of the Gospel and acclaimed to preach the truth of God’s word, five years later he was ordained an Elder in the Lord’s church, at the helm of his Pastorate in 2019 he was appointed as an Overseer. Soon after he was consecrated to the Bishopric during the Northeast Regional Diocese Convocation of the International Bibleway Church of Jesus Christ, Inc and appointed to serve as the District Bishop of the North-Central Ecclesiastical District. He currently serves as the Secretary of the Board of Bishops within NERD and administrative Bishop to the Vice Presiding Bishop of International Bibleway, Apostle Vincent Leroy Greaves.

Materially, He is married to the love of his life, Brandi Autry,  and they have three lovely, God-fearing children. She is one of his greatest treasures and the acclaimed secret to his success in ministry, business and academia. His three children serve as a metaphoric motivation for his continued advancement in reaching the goal of instructing and educating a generation to know the truth of God in a deeper way. Together, their family inspires a generation to come back to the heart of God and develop a deeper relationship with God in order to fulfill purpose and advance the kingdom. They are a continued resource of hope and help to all they come in contact with and are progressive leaders in innovation in ministry and the marketplace alike.

Bishop Marcus’ passion for academia and education was birthed in the early years of ministry sitting in ministers’ class, listening to lectures of apostolic apologetics taught  by noted kingdom voices and being inspired not just to be a prolific preacher, but to become a sound, informative teacher.
